At Althera Alternative Care, our mission is to use comprehensive health data evaluations to inform personalized medical, exercise and nutrition recommendations — empowering individuals to lead longer, stronger, and healthier lives. This is a practice that emphasizes value over volume. We see fewer people and take better care of them. We are not handcuffed by the demands of traditional primary care. Our visits are not 15 minutes. Instead, they often last up to an hour.

is a Board Certified Primary Care Physician Assistant with greater than 30 years of healthcare experience. A native New Mexican, he has been continually licensed to practice medicine in the state of New Mexico since 1996.
Ms. Johnson graduated from the University of New Mexico Physician Assistant Program with a bachelor’s degree in 2003. She focused her clinical career on complex internal medicine patients at the UNM Senior Health Clinic.
